Arild "Hulk" Haugen (born 30 December 1985) is a strongman and professional boxer from Sirdal, Norway. He currently lives in Sandnes, Rogaland.

Haugen stands 1.89 m (6 ft 2 in) tall and weighs approximately 144 kilograms (320 lb).[citation needed] He is capable of squatting 400 kilograms (880 lb), a deadlift of 400 kilograms (880 lb), and a bench press of 250 kilograms (550 lb). It was suggested that Haugen has much potential, and in future strongman competitions would rival the impressive records set by Mariusz Pudzianowski. However Haugen has now retired from strongman, to seek a future in boxing.

Haugen's first career fight was on 11 December 2009 against Latvian Pavels Dolgovs. Haugen won by knockout 45 seconds into the first round.

Strong Man: Svend Karlsen (Norway)

Svend Karlsen (born October 6, 1967) is a former Norwegian strongman, powerlifter, and IFBB professional bodybuilder.
Svend started out as a powerlifter in 1986, winning a number of titles and setting 30 Norwegian records, 3 European records, and 1 world record. Soon after, Svend began pursuing a career in bodybuilding. He traveled on the road doing posing exhibitions with some bodybuilding friends to help pay the bills. Svend won the Mr. Norway title, and took second place at the World Games. This victory earned him his IFBB pro card and he could now compete as a professional. Svend moved to California to focus on his bodybuilding career, and his first pro show was the IFBB Night of Champions. Svend suffered a severe muscle tear that forced him to retire from bodybuilding, and in 1996 he quickly moved on to strongman competitions.
