Super Strong Man - Christian Savoie (Quebec - Canada)

Christian Savoie (born 25 March 1976, Val-Joli, Quebec) is a leading Canadian strongman competitor and entrant to the World's Strongest Man competition on multiple occasions.

Born in Quebec, known as the "cradle of strongmen", and residing in Sherbrooke, Quebec Christian Savoie is by profession a butcher. He began strongman sport at the age of 25 years old. He began o make his mark in 2008 when he won the Quebec cup. That year he came third in Canada's strongest man and then placed second in North America's Strongest Man, he also won the 2009 version of North America's Strongest Man. In 2009 a first place finish in Canada's Strongest Man secured him an invite to the 2009 World's Strongest Man, the pinnacle competition in strength athletics. Although he failed to make the final, he finished fourth in his group in an overall field described as the best ever. He won the 2010 version of North America's Strongest Man and made the 2010 World's Strongest Man.
