Lee Andrew Priest McCutcheon nicknamed "The Blond Myth" (born 6 July 1972 in Newcastle, Australia) is a former IFBB professional bodybuilder and a current NABBA Professional athlete.
Lee Priest grew up in Wallsend Australia. Lee's mom was also a bodybuilding competitor, and posed with Lee onstage. Lee started training at the age of 12 with the help and support of his grandfather. He competed for the first time at the age of 13 and won. He went on to win numerous other competitions leading up to him winning the IFBB Mr Australia at 17,18,19. Lee competed at the World's Championship at 17, where he placed 4th. He was not allowed to get his pro card in Australia because of his young age. It was then Lee decided to enter an amateur competition, Niagra Falls. While there, Lee was discovered and given his pro card. Lee became one of the youngest man to turn IFBB pro at the age of 21.
Lee competed successfully within the IFBB. In 2010 Lee decided to switch to NABBA and and in 2011 was invited by Paul Dillet to compete with The WBFF.
Lee has his own supplement company called Assassin Nutrition in Australia. The company decided the easiest way to reach the legion of fans Lee has garnered over his 20+ years in bodybuilding, was to sell online.
Besides a successful and well known bodybuilding career, Lee is also a champion race car driver. Lee started racing in 2002 with road-racing and circle track. He then progressed to drag racing in 2004. Lee won numerous races and titles in road and circle track. His most successful bid came within drag-racing. He won Rookie of the Year in 2005. The following year, 2006, nothing stood in his way and he won the Championship.
Lee has also done some tv and movie work. He did all the bodywork for The Hulk Movie and also for the video game. He recently appeared in a local Australian tv series ( Rescue Special Ops) and will have a brief role in an upcoming Australian movie. He is currently working on a few more tv and print projects, proving that he is and always will be more than just a bodybuilder.
