Top Muscular Man - Stan Efferding, American IFBB professional bodybuilder and powerlifter

Stan Efferding (born November 6, 1967 in Portland, Oregon), is an American IFBB professional bodybuilder and powerlifter.

Stan Efferding, born November 6, 1967 in Portland Oregon graduated from Cambria Heights High School in Patton Pennsylvania in 1985. He had a college scholarship to play soccer for Warner Pacific College, but he decided to go to University of Oregon, where he studied Psychology.

Efferding competed in bodybuilding since 1988 winning the Mr. Oregon in 1991, placing 6th in the Jr. USA in 1992 and placing 2nd in the Emerald Cup in 1996 and 1997. Efferding started competing in powerlifting in 1996 totaling over 2,000 lbs in the Pepsi Region 8 challenge, deadlifting 782 lbs raw.

In 1997 Efferding stopped competing in both sports in order to pursue business opportunities, but continued lifting.

At the age of 38, Efferding came back to bodybuilding and competed in the 2006 Seattle Emerald Cup, winning the Superheavyweight class weighing 235 lbs. In 2008 he came back and won the Emerald Cup Heavyweight class and overall award. In February 2009 at the age of 41 Efferding totaled 2,070 lbs at the APA "All RAW" Northwest Regional Championships, setting 2 American records in the open category.

Efferding earned his IFBB Pro Card on July 17, 2009 winning the Superheavyweight class and overall award at the Masters Nationals Bodybuilding Championships weighing 259 lbs.

On September 19, 2009, Efferding entered an SPF Sanctioned Raw Powerlifting meet in Sacramento California and totaled 2,221 lbs in 275 lbs category, just 29 lbs away from All-Time American Raw Record, set in 1972 by Jon Cole. Stan squatted 821 lbs, Bench pressed 606 pounds (earning him a place on the Raw bench hall of fame), and deadlifted 794 pounds.

Mr. Olympia 2010 World's Strongest Professional Bodybuilder - Stan Efferding won this title benching 628 lbs and deadlifting 800 lbs for a 1,428 lb push/pull total. This set a new record for the worlds strongest bodybuilder and beat the previous title holders record by nearly 100 pounds.

Efferding is the #1 ranked raw powerlifter in America, he currently holds the Raw Record for the Squat and Total of 2,226 LBS.




Top Muscular Man - Dayo Audi, holds regional, national, European and World titles from three major Federations

Dayo Audi (Dayo Audifferen) is active in the sport of bodybuilding, not only as a competitor but also in training fitness enthusiasts and athletes up to national level. Dayo Audi achieved professional status in 1999, competing for the first time in the Masters Olympia in the US in August 2003, where he achieved 11th place.

Dayo Audi holds regional, national, European and World titles from three major Federations, retiring from competitive bodybuilding in November 2008 after winning the WBBF Mr Universe title in Vilnius, Lithuania.

He is also an International judge with the WFF, qualifying in 2002 and served in the same capacity with NABBA from 2003 until leaving the organisation in 2007.

Still actively involved in the sport, Dayo organises independent shows and has successfully run the SportsPN Classic – a non-political/non-federational show – for the last 4 years.

In May 2009 at the Doncaster Dome, Dayo staged his first Strongman event in collaboration with Colin Bryce of Power Productions UK. The England's Strongest Man contest was part of the World's Strongest Man Qualifying Tour. Raw Power Sunday was the first of further Strongman events planned for the future.



Top Muscular Man - Mark Dugdale, born December 25, 1974, IFBB professional bodybuilder

Mark James Dugdale (born December 25, 1974) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder.

His first competition in bodybuilding was in 1997 when he competed in the NPC (National Physique Committee) Emerald Cup. He placed 3rd in the middleweight class. His first Arnold Classic was in 2005, where he placed 9th. Later that year he competed in the Ironman Pro Invitational and the San Francisco Pro Invitational, placing 8th and 6th, respectively. He recently portrayed Achilles on the album cover for Back Breaker, the third album from the Tennessee Thrash metal band The Showdown.





Top Muscular Man - Dave Draper, born in Secaucus, New Jersey

David Draper (born April 16, 1942) bodybuilder, actor and author, nicknamed "The Blond Bomber."

Draper was born in Secaucus, New Jersey. His weight training began at the age of ten and was a well-formed habit by the time he was about twelve, in the mid-1950s.

In high school he participated in wrestling, gymnastics and swimming, but was most inspired by training with weights.

At 21, he won the Mr. New Jersey title. Six months later he moved to Santa Monica, California, working for the Weider Barbell Company until 1969. During this period he also worked in motion pictures.

In the early days, Draper says, "There wasn't a whole bunch of encouragement or inspiration from a society which considered you either stupid or egotistical and probably a sissy."

In California, Draper initially trained at a gym many called "The Dungeon", which he described as "a large, awful space dug out of the ground on the corner of 4th and Broadway, and later at the original Gold's Gym. Training partners included Frank Zane, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbu and Mike Katz.

Draper is 6'0" (1.83 m) tall, and his bodybuilding competition weight was around 225 lb. (102 kg).

Top Muscular Man - Premchand Degra, professional bodybuilder from India

Premchand Degra is an IFBB professional bodybuilder from India. Also mentioned as Premchand Degra/Dhingra. He won the Mr. Universe title in the short-height 80 kg category in 1988. He was also awarded the "Achievement Medal" by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) in 2003, for winning its World Middleweight Champion title in 1988.

Mr. Degra lives in Hoshiarpur (Punjab) and trains budding body builders in his own gym. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India.

Born on December 1, 1955 (age 55) at Babri Nangal village in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, Premchand Degra has striven hard to mould his body into a muscular delight. He began his sports career as a wrestler after completing his matriculation from Government High School of the neighbouring Tibber village in 1973. It was only in 1980 that he developed an interest in body building and rose to be crowned Mr. Punjab, Mr. North India, Mr. India (9 times in a row), Mr, Asia (8 times) and finally Mr. World (Middle-weight class and Mr. Universe.

The world title earned him the Padma Shri in 1990. Earlier he had received the Arjuna Award in 1986. He is also the recipient of the Punjab Government's Maharaja Ranjit Singh Award (1994), Tata best Sportsman Award (1986) Charminar Challenge Trophy. Prem made his national debut by claiming a Bronze Medal in Middle-Weight Class at Darjeeling in 1980. He followed it up by winning three Gold Medals next year that made him Mr. Punjab, Junior Mr. India and Senior Mr. India 1981. He retained the title of Mr. India in middleweight category 1984. Thereafter he moved over to Light Heavy Weight Class and for next five years (1985–1989) won the title of Mr India in this class too.

He began his international career by bagging the title of Mr. Asia in Middle-weight Class at Karachi in 1983, a feat he was to repeat at Seoul in 1984. Subsequently he switched over to Light Heavy-weight Class in Mr. Asia contest too, winning the title at Colombo in 1985, Taipei in 1986 and Malaysia in 1987.

Top Muscular Man - Kris Dim, Cambodian professional bodybuilder

Krisna "Kris" Dim (born May 7, 1973) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder. [1]
His first national bodybuilding competition was the NPC (National Physique Committee) USA Championships, where he took 6th. After many years of hard work, he finally got his "ProCard" after winning the overall light-heavyweight division in the NPC USA 2003. From there, he began his career as a professional bodybuilder and competed in his first IFBB Mr. Olympia competition in 2004, where he placed 12th. His first Arnold Classic was in 2006, where he placed 14th, followed by his first Ironman Pro Invitational in the same year, where he placed 10th. He also competed in the Mr. Olympia Europe in 2009 where he placed 3rd overall after Ronnie Coleman who was 1st.

Kris has been featured in many fitness and bodybuilding articles, the cover of FLEX magazine and Muscular Development.

Dim was born in Cambodia. When was four years old, him and his family moved to Arlington, Virginia. They moved again to Sacramento, California when he was twelve years old. He joined a professional gym at the age of fifteen. Two years later, he entered and won his first contest, the teenage division of the North Bay Bodybuilding Championships. He married, dropped out of college, and since then, his career has taken off.

Top Muscular Man - Paul Dillett, born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Paul Dillett (born April 12, 1965 in Montreal, Quebec) is a retired IFBB professional bodybuilder. He resides in Toronto, Canada. [1]

Paul Dillett first competed in professional bodybuilding when he took second place in the heavyweight division of the 1991 North American Championships. His first Mr. Olympia was in 1993, where he placed 6th. In 1993, he competed in his first Ironman Pro Invitational, where he took fourth place.

Later the same year, he competed in his first Arnold Classic, placing fourth. In 1999, he competed in the Night of Champions competition, where he placed first. Paul has been featured in many fitness and bodybuilding articles, including being featured on the cover of Muscular Development magazine.

At the Arnold in 1994, Dillett froze on stage, a result of cramping from dehydration. Four officials carried him off the stage, still in his pose.






Top Muscular Man - Chris Dickerson, born in Montgomery, Alabama

Chris Dickerson (born Henri Christophe Dickerson on August 25, 1939 in Montgomery, Alabama), is a former American bodybuilder.

Dickerson was born to Mahala Ashley Dickerson as the youngest of triplets. He studied music and is an accomplished opera singer in addition to his career in athletics.

Dickerson first entered bodybuilding competition in 1965 by taking third place at that year's Mr. Long Beach competition. He was not only the first African-American Mr. America, but also the oldest winner, at age 43, of the IFBB Mr. Olympia contest, which he won in 1982.

One of the world's most titled bodybuilders, Dickerson's competitive career spanned thirty years; he was known for both his heavily muscled, symmetrical physique and for his skills on the posing dais. He trained for many of his most important competitions in the 1980s with former Mr. Universe Bill Pearl. He retired in 1994. Dickerson was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2000.

Today, Dickerson lives in Florida where he continues to train, conduct seminars, and correspond with current athletes.





Top Muscular Man - Nathan DeTracy, light heavyweight in the 2006 USA NPC Bodybuilding and Figure Championships

Nathan DeTracy (born 1978) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder. [1]

Standing 5'5" and averaging in weight at 182 pounds, DeTracy placed 16th as a light heavyweight in the 2006 USA NPC Bodybuilding & Figure Championships. Also in 2006,he placed seventh in the same weight class at the Los Angeles Bodybuilding, Fitness & Figure Championships. In 2007, he was the light heavyweight and overall winner in the Emerald Cup Championships.

For 2008, DeTracy changed his training routine and slimmed down to compete in the middleweight category. This strategy paid off when he took first place in that division in the 2008 NPC USA Championships. DeTracy won his pro card at the 2009 NPC Nationals, placing first in the middleweight class.

Outside of competition, DeTracy owns Evolution Fitness in Bellevue, Washington. He has also made guest posing appearances at bodybuilding and fitness expos.

Top Muscular Man - Paul Demayo, California, United States

Paul DeMayo (September 12, 1967 - June 2, 2005) was a former IFBB professional bodybuilder. [1]

Paul DeMayo was nicknamed "Quadzilla" for the size of his quadriceps. Born in California, United States and raised in suburban Boston, DeMayo first competed in bodybuilding when he placed 1st in the Teenage Massachusetts State championships. His first National Physique Committee (NPC) event was in 1988, where he took 7th place in the NPC Junior USA heavyweight class. He took the 1st place in the NPC Nationals Championship event in 1994. His first and only Mr. Olympia was in 1995, where he placed 12th. DeMayo had been featured in many fitness and magazine articles, including being featured on the cover of IRON MAN magazine.

DeMayo died on June 2, 2005 in Boston from a heroin overdose. According to people close to him, DeMayo's problems started when his wife left him and he returned to Boston after he moved to California with her to train in Gold's Gym. He then was signed to an endorsement contract by sports nutritional supplement company Met-Rx and forced to compete in the 1995 Mr. Olympia against his wishes. He placed 12th and retired shortly afterwards.

DeMayo spent two years in Walpole state prison for shooting at his girlfriend and possession of percodan. Some months before his death he told his friends that he was working at the Gold's Gym on Lansdown Street in Boston, but it was revealed later that he was fired several months earlier due to a substance abuse problem.
