Top Strong Man - Vidas Blekaitis (Lithuanian strongman)

Vidas Blekaitis (born April 14, 1972 in Birštonas) is a Lithuanian strongman. As of 2007, Blekaitis was ranked World No. 4 by the International Federation of Strength Athletes. Vidas placed 4th in the 2009 Arnold Strongman Classic. Vidas competed in the IFSA Strongman World Championships 3 times, finishing 7th in 2005, 4th in the 2006, and 6th in 2007.

Vidas recently placed second at the Giants Live Finland event on August 13, 2011. This placing qualifies him for the 2011 World's Strongest Man contest.





Top Strong Man - Andy Bolton (English powerlifter and strongman)

Andy Bolton (born January 22, 1970) is an English powerlifter and strongman who was born in Dewsbury, Yorkshire. Andy is best known for being the first man to lift a 1,000 lb. deadlift in a powerlifting competition.

Bolton won his first competitive competition in 1991 when he was twenty-one years of age, at a local powerlifting event called the BAWLA Yorkshire Junior Championships. Bolton has since competed in the WPO/WPC He is the current World Powerlifting Organization "world record holder" (1273 kg/2806 lb). Bolton also holds the current WPO world records in the squat (550.5 kg/1213 lb) and previous holder of the deadlift (457.5 kg/1009 lb), and was the first to demonstrate a deadlift of over a thousand pounds.

Bolton has also competed in strongman contests. His strongman accomplishments include placing fifth in the 2002 Arnold Strongman Classic.

Andy Bolton appeared in October 2010 at Elizabethtown High School at "The Night of the Living Dead" Deadlift competition.




Top Strong Man - Tom Magee (1982 World's Strongest Man competition)

Tom Magee was the 1982 World Powerlifting Champion in the superheavyweight division. He placed second in the 1982 World's Strongest Man competition and is regarded as being one of the most versatile strongmen of all time. Magee also won the Le Defi Mark Ten strongman challenge in 1985. His best lifts are an 860 lb. squat, a 573 lb. bench press and 1180 lbs 18" deadlift in a world's strongest man competition in 1983.

He has appeared in several movies and also had a brief career as a professional wrestler.

Super Strong Man - Dexter Jackson (Jacksonville, Florida)

Dexter "The Blade" Jackson (born November 25, 1969) is an IFBB professional bodybuilder and the 2008 Mr. Olympia bodybuilding champion. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida.

Dexter's first NPC (National Physique Committee) competition was the NPC Southern States Championship of 1992, where he took 3rd. He first competed professionally in the 1999 Arnold Classic, Night of Champions, and Mr. Olympia contests, placing 7th, 3rd, and 9th, respectively.

At the 2007 Mr. Olympia, Jackson placed 3rd and many critics said he would not likely place any higher. On September 27, 2008, he defeated the reigning two-time Mr. Olympia, Jay Cutler to become the 12th man to win the title, and only the second to have won it and the Arnold Classic title in the same year.

2008 was a great year for Jackson, as he won the Arnold Classic, Australian Pro Grand Prix VIII, New Zealand Grand Prix, Russian Grand Prix and the Mr. Olympia. Jackson placed 3rd in the 2009 Mr. Olympia contest.

Jackson has been featured in many fitness and bodybuilding articles, including being pictured on the cover of Muscular Development and Flex magazine. He is currently shooting his new documentary DVD titled Dexter Jackson: Unbreakable with filmmaker Alex Ardenti of Ardenti Films in Florida and California to be released in 2009.

Corey St. Clair is a personal trainer and proffessional strongman. He lives in Boise, Idaho with his wife Jodey. Together they own St. Clair Strength and Fitness.





Super Strong Man - Juha-Matti Rasanen (strongman competitor from Kuopio, Finland)

Juha-Matti Räsänen (born May 19, 1974) is a strongman competitor from Kuopio, Finland. Juha began training for strongman in 1995, began competing as an amateur in 1996 and turned professional in 2000. Juha competed in the 2001 and 2002 World's Strongest Man contests, finishing 9th and 6th respectively. Juha is a 2 time winner of Finland's Strongest Man in 2002 & 2003, and is a 3 time runner-up. Juha holds the Guinness World Record for throwing a 60 kg man 5.40 meters (17ft 8in) in Spain in July 2006.

Marshall White, American Professional Strongman athlete from Pagosa Springs, Colorado

Marshall White (born April 30, 1982) is an American Professional Strongman athlete from Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Marshall was born in Houston, Texas and now lives in Pagosa Springs, Colorado with his wife Rachel, whom he married in 2005. Marshall is a Mortician in addition to being a professional athlete.

Marshall played football for his junior high and high school in Texas. After graduating, Marshall joined "The Unit", a Strongman group in Cypress, Texas headed by longtime friend and Strongman Travis Ortmayer.

After training with "The Unit" for a year, Marshall applied for a job which would place him in Port Angeles, Washington.

He initially trained at "Marunde Muscle" with World's Strongest Man competitor, the late Jesse Marunde.

Marshall earned his pro card in 2006, and competed in the 2006 ASC Nationals, finishing in 7th place overall.

Marshall was training with Jacob Miskimens in their own facility in Washington when he purchased a funeral home in Pagosa Springs, Co. He made the move to Colorado on March, 2009 and is currently training on his own.

For 2008, Marshall was invited to compete in the World's Strongest Man Super Series, which is a qualifying tour for the World's Strongest Man Competition.

In January 2009, Marshall competed in the Fit Expo in Pasadena, California finishing in 4th place overall.

On July 4, 2009 Marshall recorded his biggest win to date, a victory at the Strongman Super Series Bucharest contest, defeating Nick Best, Brian Shaw and Johannes Arsjo.

This victory qualified Marshall for the 2009 World's Strongest Man contest in Valetta, Malta. Marshall competed in the qualifying heats but failed to qualify for the finals.



Jarno Hams, strongman from the Netherlands

Jarno Hams (born 1974, Hengelo) is a strongman from the Netherlands. He was six times Holland's Strongest Man. And participated in the World's Strongest Man in 2002 and 2003 but failed to qualify for the finals both times. On July 12, 2008 Hams did win the Holland's Strongest Man title for the fifth time in a row.

Hams was born in Hengelo, Overijssel and grew up in Vroomshoop. One of his greatest hobbies is soccer, he played 19 years for the local soccer club VV Vroomshoopse Boys. The first strongman contest he competed in was the ‘Sterkste man van Oost-Nederland’ (Strongest man of east Netherlands) in 1996 where he finished third after this he followed some trainings lessons from Berend Veneberg then the Strongest man of the Netherlands. He managed his first podium finish at the Strongest man of the Netherlands in 1999 where he finished third. In 2001 he placed second behind Wout Zijlstra. It would take him till 2004 to finally win the tournament for the first time a feat he would repeat till 2008. He was invited for the World's Strongest Man competition in 2002 and 2003 but did not managed to get past the qualifying heats. Hams competed together with Wout Zijlstra in the World's Strongest Team competition in 2001 where they finished third. In 2006 he would win the tournament with Edwin Hakvoort. He competed in the World Championship of the IFSA in 2005 and 2007 where he placed twelfth. Due to an injury he could not defend his title during the Holland's Strongest Man 2009 on July 12 in Vroomshoop. In 2010 he once again was the strongest man of the Netherlands This time his brother Eric Hams also competed at the Strongest man of the Netherlands. Jarno worked as truck driver and as doorman for a Discothèque in Hengelo.







Slawomir Orzel - Polish strongman competitor

Slawomir Orzel (born 1979) is a popular Polish strongman competitor. He is best known by the nickname Max. He's living in Karwieńskie Błota in gmina Krokowa with his wife and children. He is also a bodybuilder.
